POLYSTYRENE BLEMISHA polystyrene blemish is caused when the polystyrene packaging inside the TV box, rubs against the screen during transit. This ‘wears away’ a layer of the polarising (anti-reflection) film on the surface of the screen to leave a slightly shiny mark. This is mainly seen when the TV is switched off and is not usually visible when watching a normal moving picture. This does not affect the pixels/ panel behind and will not worsen with time.

This may result in a small shiny spot on the screen that is usually only visible up close when the screen is turned off and viewed from certain angles under specific lighting conditions. These blemishes are extremely minor and do not affect the viewing experience. Due to their subtle nature, they are difficult to capture in photographs.

It has been tested, refurbished, and is in very good condition with minor blemishes. There are two small scratches on the screen, which are usually only visible when the screen is off and light reflects at a certain angle. Additionally, there is a minor dent on the left side of the frame. These issues do not affect regular viewing and will not worsen over time. (Please see pictures)

It is most visible when the screen is switched off when the light reflects against it from certain angles, and is not always visible when watching a moving picture from a normal viewing distance of around 2 metres.
